Denver, you are so cool. Literally, you were 15 degrees colder than Texas in September and we loved it. Our friends took us to all the best places. We need to hurry back to check out more breweries and catch another baseball game since Emily loves sports so much.
Denver Breweries
Crooked Stave
For the sour beer lover in my life – Crooked Stave brews their beers in some special way, which is cool for beer nerds and they are sour.
Our Mutual Friend
Our Mutual Friend had a ton of collaboration beers including one with our favorite Austin brewery, Austin Beerworks.
Ratio Beerworks
My favorite place was Ratio Beerworks. I drank the Dear You. It was the best beer all day.
Denver Food
Denver Biscuit Company
Denver Biscuit Company was featured on the Food Network show, Diner, Drive Ins and Dives. It was definitely worth the hype and was packed at 10 a.m. on a Friday.
El Five
If I had to pick on place, you definitely have to check out El Five. It’s on the pricey side, but so worth it. Jon and Michael drank the Zombie which had a limit of 2. We shared the paella and sat on the patio overlooking Denver. 10/10 would recommend.
Jelly
Great breakfast spot with cool decor. The host stand is an old box TV with a wood frame.
Sweet Cooie’s Ice Cream and Confectionery
I mean it’s ice cream and it’s delicious. My friends learned it takes me forever to eat ice cream.
No goofy pictures this trip. Instead Be a Good Person.
That street art looks really cool and I love visiting a brewery (or 2).

Yes, both Ratio and OMF had cool art!
Great selections. We loved our time in Denver. I don’t think I even saw that ice cream place. I guess it’s another reason to go back. I agree 100% with Denver Biscuit Company. Even if you have to wait awhile for a table, it’s totally worth the wait. Probably one of my favorite travel breakfasts so far. #WeekendWanderlust
That’s a strong recommendation for the Denver Biscuit Company!
